- Accumulator
- A single bet that combines two or more selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Asian Handicap
- A spread betting method that eliminates the draw by giving a goal advantage or disadvantage to each team.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside for betting.
- Bet Builder
- A feature that lets you combine different markets from a single match into one custom wager.
- Bet Slip
- The digital record that lists the selections, odds, and stake for a wager before it is placed.
- Cash Out
- An option to settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or cutting a loss.
- Correct Score
- A wager predicting the exact final score of a match.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible match outcomes (e.g., home win or draw) in one wager.
- Each-Way
- A two-part bet where you back a selection to win and also place a smaller bet on it to place (usually top 3).
- European Handicap
- A type of handicap that uses whole numbers and allows a draw outcome.
- Fixed Odds
- A bet where the payout is set at the odds available when the bet is placed, regardless of later changes.
- Fold
- The number of selections in a multi‑bet; a five‑fold has five picks.
- Free Bet
- A bonus bet credited by the sportsbook that can be used to place a wager without using your own money.
- Handicap Betting
- A market where a fictional advantage or disadvantage is applied to a team to level the playing field.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing bets after a match has started, with odds that update in real time.
- Lay Bet
- A bet that a selection will not win, typically placed on a betting exchange.
- Margin
- The bookmaker’s built‑in profit margin, expressed as a percentage of the true odds.
- Odds Boost
- A promotion that increases the odds on a specific bet, offering a higher potential payout.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether a specific statistic (e.g., total goals) will be over or under a set number.
- Payout
- The total amount you receive when a bet wins, including the stake and profit.
- Spread Betting
- A form of betting where the payout depends on the accuracy of the prediction relative to a point spread.
- Stake
- The amount of money you risk on a bet.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability suggests, giving an expected positive return.
- Void Bet
- A bet that is canceled and the stake is returned, usually because the event did not occur.
- Yield
- The net profit from a series of bets expressed as a percentage of the total amount wagered.
